Learnuctor Instructors
At Learnuctor, we ensure that:
All instructors will provide the pupil with a dual-controlled car in a clean and roadworthy condition.
All instructors will present themselves in a professional manner and maintain a smart appearance.
Learnuctor strictly enforces a no smoking policy.
Instructors will adhere to the equal opportunity policy and will not discriminate based on colour, race, creed, gender, or sexuality.
Driving Test
Your instructor has the right to withdraw their car for your driving test if they believe you are not ready. They will give you at least FIVE working days' notice, provided you didn't request the test at short notice (less than FIVE working days).
In the rare event that your instructor falls ill at short notice, we will try to find you another instructor, but we cannot guarantee this at such short notice.
If your instructor's car is not roadworthy for your driving test, we will do our best to find a similar vehicle, but an identical one cannot be guaranteed, especially at short notice.
Should the DVSA examiner decline to conduct the test in your instructor's car due to roadworthiness issues, Learnuctor will cover the cost of a replacement driving test.
Payments to Your Driving Instructor
Any block bookings paid directly to your instructor in cash or via bank transfer are solely between you and the instructor. If you encounter any issues, please contact the Learnuctor head office, and we will try to help resolve the matter.
As with any cash purchase, it is your right to ask for a receipt, whether from a shop or your driving instructor. Please request a receipt on the day of payment to your instructor. If you haven't received a receipt and need one, inform us immediately after the lesson.
Learnuctor cannot be held responsible for any cash or bank transfer payments made to your instructor. The safest and most secure way to protect your money is by paying Learnuctor through bank transfer or PayPal.
If you encounter difficulties obtaining a refund from your instructor for cash or bank transfer payments, Learnuctor will assist you in resolving the issue. If we are unable to recover your money, we may direct you to the following authorities where you can report and make a claim against your instructor:
Money Claim online: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome
DVSA: https://www.gov.uk/complain-about-a-driving-instructor
Complaints should be addressed to your instructor, who is self-employed, if you paid them directly. If you paid Learnuctor, your money is protected, and you will receive a refund or partial refund based on the complaint and the number of outstanding lessons.
First-time offers are available for new pupils joining Learnuctor, and you can only avail of one of these offers, which cannot be combined with other offers.
Learnuctor Cancellation Policy
Students must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel a driving lesson. Failure to do so entitles your instructor to charge you the normal driving lesson rate or the prorated amount if it's a block booking.
It is the student's responsibility to present a valid UK provisional driving license before the first driving lesson. Failure to do so allows the instructor to cancel any booked lessons within 24 hours, and you may be charged.
Learnuctor will not be liable for driving lesson or test cancellations due to mechanical breakdown or other emergencies, such as illness or bereavement. We will try to find a replacement vehicle or instructor as soon as possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Learnuctor Offers & Price Changes
Learnuctor reserves the right to change driving lesson offers and prices at any time, depending on location, times, and whether you choose an automatic or manual vehicle.
Pre-payments are valid at the time of purchase, and the first driving lesson must be taken within 6 months from the initial date of purchase.

Mechanical Fault or Physical Damage during a Driving Lesson
If the instructor's teaching vehicle experiences a mechanical fault during the lesson, the remaining time will be carried over to your next driving lesson. If that is not possible, a full or partial refund for the remaining time will be offered.
In case the instructor's teaching vehicle is damaged due to driver error by the pupil, the time spent resolving the issue will count towards the lesson time. For example, if the pupil damages the vehicle while driving and it takes time to fix the issue, the lesson time may be affected, but the instructor will not charge for the damage.
We look forward to teaching you to drive!
